my recent stay at this welcoming pub during a christmas party exceeded my expectations. the food was delightful, especially the locally sourced fish and chips. staff were super friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable, just like my last visit.

the bathroom had limited toiletries.

We had a great time with our kids, especially enjoying the lovely breakfast and the beautiful view from our room overlooking the harbour. The play area was a hit with the little ones, and we loved hanging out in the cozy lounge with a drink. Just a small heads up—the toilet could've been a bit cleaner upon arrival, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all. 😊

the old ship has a fantastic location near the harbor. we loved the king room, which was larger than average with plenty of space to move around. the pub-style menu was better than expected and created a nice ambiance. the staff were super friendly and attentive. best of all, the free overnight parking was a huge plus!

I had an absolute blast! The harbor view from my balcony room was breathtaking, where I enjoyed watching boats bobbing in the water and stunning sunsets. Cozy pub, delicious breakfast. the location was perfect for what we needed, right near the beach and little harbour for walking our dog, and we enjoyed a lovely meal in the warm atmosphere of the bar while taking advantage of the free wi-fi in our double room with a private bathroom.

The bed was comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The food served in the pub was delicious, especially the fish and chips. Staff members were friendly and attentive, contributing to a warm atmosphere. Breakfast had a good selection, but it could benefit from more variety and quicker service. My only real issue was the wait for food at times due to limited staff. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place.
